Centre led procurement was established two years ago. Having implemented a new procurement system and developed a strong procurement framework, the University of Tasmania is now looking to appoint a strategic leader to embed and drive value creation.
With exceptional leadership capability and a commitment to team culture, you will empower your people to deliver procurement outcomes across the University, through positive stakeholder engagement, adding value to Colleges, Divisions and Budget Centres through the provision of expert advice.
Your proven background in strategic procurement transformation, exceptional negotiation skills and experience in a complex stakeholder environment, will effectively position you to positively impact procurement outcomes across the University and lead strategic decision making.
This position has a whole of function responsibility and University wide focus, leading the centre led procurement team to deliver key strategic and change objectives.
