Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager – People and Organisational Development will contribute as a member of the Executive Management Team in the design, implementation and integration of a People strategy to enable the organisation to meet strategic goals and operational objectives.
Developing organisational capacity to respond to emerging trends and issues in the Tasmanian community, including expanding the size and scope of services to respond to need, the General Manager – People and Organisational Development will:
- Deliver and manage key Organisational Development projects to support strategic goals and operational objectives;
- Work with the Executive Management Team to determine organisational capability requirements and appropriate solutions;
- Collaborate with General Managers on workforce development strategies for the recruitment of a large-scale workforce and drive workforce planning to support the immediate and future growth of services; and
- Design and deliver cultural and diversity programs and partner with key stakeholders to support organisational culture and implement continuous improvement activities.
This key leadership role calls for an accomplished senior or executive-level strategic HR leader, whose experience encompasses customer-facing and transformational change environments.
Having successfully led the provision of HR services and solutions for a medium to large organisation you will build team capability and guide the development and empowerment of your team in the implementation of contemporary Human Resources and the adoption of best practice.
